The owners of this manufactured lake home wanted a deck on the lakeside of their new home that would fit their budget. They wanted it to look like an extension of their home, and wanted it to be large enough for entertaining and grilling. As they came to the lake to enjoy their time off, they also wanted it to be low maintenance.
We developed a plan and recommended that they use TimberTech Terrains coupled with white Tam-Rail composite railing, to stay within their budget. 12" joist centers were used to support the decking, and an access door was provided in the skirting for storage of lake toys. TimberTech Accent LED Deck Lights, controlled by a transformer with photo cell and timer, provide for security when they are not there
and allows them to extend the day, when they are.
The Silver Maple decking and white railing really worked with the house and environment.
We will probably be back next year to add a side entrance deck and stair. We are looking forward to it.
